To make sure that we provide the best quality language services to our clients, we focus on English-Chinese translation only. We apply the following process:

Standard English-Chinese Translation

1. Evaluate the project and carefully select translators and proofreaders. The selected linguists will always be a native speaker of the target language with strong English competency as well as rich experience and expertise in your field. Projects from the same client will always go to the same linguists to ensure consistency.

2. Translators are required to do a self-proofreading before submitting the file to proofreaders.

3. Proofreaders will check every sentence against the source for accuracy first, and then review the translation without consulting the source text to make sure that the translation sounds natural.

4. Proofed file will be sent back to the translator for confirmation.

5. A quality manager final reviews the file before delivering the final product to the client.

Projects involving both Simplified and Traditional Chinese translation

In some cases, clients will require that we provide both Simplified Chinese (SCH) and Traditional Chinese (TCH) versions. To save time and costs for our clients as well as making sure that the languages are consistent and suitable for the SCH/TCH market, we apply the following process:

1. The 1-5 steps of the standard process will be followed.

2. The final Simplified Chinese translation will be sent to our Tch linguist to be localized into Traditional Chinese.

3. A quality manager final checks the TCH reviewed file.
